At CR’s Woodshed, we craft unique, high-quality goods from premium woods like Southern Red Oak, African Cocobolo, and Maple. Our creations include beautiful bowls, charcuterie boards, kitchen utensils, lamps, ornaments, and more. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted to bring warmth and character to your home.

Our Story

Born and raised in Ellijay, GA, Richard has always been surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and the craft of woodworking, inspired by his father’s talent in the trade. After retiring from a 40-year career in the construction industry, he returned to Ellijay in 2013 and set out to turn his passion into a new chapter of life.

Armed with a growing collection of tools and a dream, Richard founded CR’s Woodshed as his second career. Today, he creates handcrafted wood pieces from his home workshop, where he lives with his loving wife, their dog Dixie, and a flock of nine delightfully demanding chickens.
